Western Massachusetts, October 1957?

Does anyone know if there was a horror-host available to viewers in southwest Berkshire County (specifically Sheffield), Massachusetts in the fall of 1957? Not necessarily "SHOCK!," but anything?

I tend to doubt it. The nearest station broadcasting Shock Theater at the time would have been New York City. Given that the Berkshires don't get those stations now I seriously doubt they would have...

 There was a horror host in Springfield in the mid-80s.  Not sure about the 50s though. The 80s host was called Bob MaCabre and, from what I gather, he was quite something.  He was on WGGB channel 40....
